Snoshoeing is the sport that grew the most popular these last years. It's a good way to change your mind, take fresh air and keep the shape.

How fun it is to find ourselves out of beaten trails in order to get closer to the nature, within 5 minutes from the town. What wonderful welfare to walk slowy taking time to enjoy the silence of the forest and the beauty of winter , observing the birds et tracks of fox, rabbits and more...

… NO EXCUSES … if you can walk, you can snowshoe. How spectacular it is to see close and far these marvelous mountains that surrender us and to ride in a trail across a rich pine plantation.

Endy, "TIPI" (Indian Tent) et Yurt (mongolien tent) are found on the site for the free hot chocolate break and to warm up with wood fire...

Located in Mauricie on a huge lot of 50 bitter, the VALLÉE ROCANIGAN invites you for one of the most original sojourn in a yurt (tent from Mongolia) or in a teepee for whatever the event you want to celebrate: birthday, reunion or for a night  right into the nature.

Description:

    Yurt: Maximum capacity of up to 8 people to spend the night, including 2 sofas and 2 campbeds, 1 table with some chairs,  a lamp and wood stove.

    Teepees: 16': capacity of up to 4-5 people

             20': capacity of up to 6-8 people

             including campbeds, sofa, table, chairs and wood stove.

In a rudimentary environment, a dry toilet is installed on the spot. The site is located at 5 minutes from the closest town, right beside ATV and snowmobile trail, the cité de l'Énergie, the La Mauricie National Park and from many great restaurant which serves mainly gastronomical meals.

2 kilometers from exit 226, in front of Shell© gaz station

 turn left on the 4^th street

At the intersection, turn left on the 50^th avenue.

La Vallée Rocanigan is located about 1000 feet (500m) on your right handside
